22nd Anniversary Party

Last night, Black Star Power came out in full force in Atlanta as entertainment’s finest stars and VIPs gathered to celebrate the 22nd anniversary of Sister 2 Sister Magazine and its publisher Jaime Foster Brown.
Kandi Burress from the Real Housewives of Atlanta was the mistress of ceremony for the special awards presentation which would be given to recognize powerful and influential African-American men. The mayor of Atlanta, Kasim Reed, honored and congratulated Jaime Foster Brown and presented her with Atlanta’s highest honor, the Phoenix Award. which was followed by a heartfelt performance from Ginuwine who performed a new single from his album, “Elgin.”

Other honorees included super-producer Jermaine Dupri who presented BET executive, Stephen Hill; actress Terri Vaughn who presented her boss Roger Bobb with an award; singer, Jeffrey Osborne who thanked Centric for recognizing veteran artists presented executive Paxton Baster with a network award; 106th and Park’s Terrance J presented Liongate’s Will “Power” Packer and Rob Hardy with an uber-producer award.

SWV took everyone on a trip down memory lane of Sister 2 Sister Magazine throughout the years by performing a rendition of Patti Labelles, “If Only You Knew.” Other performances included Tiffany Evans & Andrea Kelley (former wife of R. Kelly).Congrats to Sister 2 Sister
on their 22nd Anniversary!
