Kanye West’s ‘Runaway’ Interview with Sway of
MTV & Illuminati Jokes
Kanye West sat down with Sway of MTV during the premiere of his short film ‘Runaway’ and answered some questions.
About the film, Kanye says:
“This character of the phoenix [even before the parallel of the crash of my career] I wanted every girl that I’ve been in a relationship with to feel like a piece of her was being represented; and even for my mother to feel like a piece of her was being represented when she sees this and just for females to connect with the different emotions. And also it was a representation of creativity and just being different.
On whether ‘Runaway’ is a reflection of his life over the past year, Kanye says:
“Its a reflection of how I felt my entire life. Just the concept of Runaway…because I did runaway from it all…I needed to runaway, I needed that time away – where I lived in Rome, Japan and Hawaii to soak in and get new people around me and to think of new ideas , in order to bring a higher level of art to the table.”
On another note, Kanye joked about the ‘Illuminati’ rumors, which were fueled even more after the premiere of his short film. He said:
“I’ve got question about “the illuminati” … what is it exactly ???… and why do people think pop stars have a membership???!!! LOL…Is illuminati and devil worshipping like the same thing… do they have a social network that celebs can sign up for? Question… can you devil worship on the new iphone??? LOL!!! What’s better for devil worshipping Iphone or the Droid… Does lucifer return text… is he or she on Skype? Don’t wanna be sexist.”
That whole Illuminati crap regarding some of these celebrities is B.S. in my opinion. I’m not even going to waste my time talking about it.
